Thank you for looking at my counselling page. I realise it can take a lot to reach out and find someone to talk to about issues that are troubling and causing sleepless nights. As much as the support of family and friends can be important, sometimes we need to talk with a professional to try to make sense of things.
I am a qualified Integrative counsellor, with many years of experience in both private and NHS settings, and I am an accredited member of the BACP adhering to their ethical framework. (https://www.bacp.co.uk/events-and-resources/ethics-and-standards/ )
In the current climate where things can feel unsettled and fearful, which is a normal response to uncertainty, life can easily become more challenging as we try to deal with difficult issues.
Following the Governments advice on social distancing I have paused my face-to face work. I am currently only working through video platforms, telephone calls and email, however, online working can be a great tool and is particularly useful at this time to be able to work with people.
Under normal circumstances I offer a safe confidential environment in which we can meet and work. However we meet, I suggest an initial consultation where we jointly decide if therapy with me is right for you.
